Chapel Arts

Chapel Arts is dedicated to promoting the understanding, appreciation, and enjoyment of the visual and performing arts in Vancouver. The Gallery places emphasis on showcasing primarily local established and emerging artists who create their work within the cultural community of the Downtown Eastside. Artist owned and operated, Chapel Arts aims to promote and support the practices of contemporary artists, makers and performers and is committed to providing opportunities to showcase their creative endeavors to engage the diversity of our community. Due to the large size of our facility, we strongly encourage community projects and group exhibitions. As a cultural hotspot, we place an important role in celebrating fresh, innovative ideas, fostering a community facility that aims to bring together the various levels of cultural and artist production.
