Emily Carr's first year masters cohort presents Inventory of Language, a group exhibition offering a window into their studio explorations within the graduate program.

Coached by curator Cate Rimmer ('86), the sixteen resident graduate students have come together to produce a wide-reaching interdisciplinary exhibition with the aims of sharing their critical arts-based research with Vancouver’s artists, curators, theoreticians, educators and the public at large. The diverse bodies of work presented in Inventory of Language include painting and drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture, performance, sound art, interactive installation, video and design.

The 2011 - 2013 resident Master of Applied Arts cohort consists of professional artists and designers intersecting from across Canada and the United States, Colombia, Pakistan, Italy, Iceland, Australia and Korea. The group is made up of Felicia Batzloff, Annie Briard, Aaron Carter, Zara Contractor, Jenny Cronin, Ashley Guindon, Allison Karow (Sunny), Liz Knox, Paolo Pennuti, Rafa Puyana, Mira Song, Leó Stefánsson, Lloyd Stone, Carol Tsang, Tokio Webster and Laurence Wong.
