Vancouver Special is pleased to be showing new paintings by the exciting young artist Russell Leng. A recent art school graduate, this local talent shows lots of promise. His current work explores the human relationship between the constructed and the natural terrains. Through various media, projects highlight freedom that sits precariously between these two forms of landscape, challenging one’s freedom to navigate the land.

Russell Leng has shown in a number of local and international galleries including Napa Galleria (Helsinki), the Mansion Gallery (Langley), Gallery Gachet (Vancouver), Center A Gallery (Vancouver), Langley Centennial Museum, and the Surrey Art Gallery.
